Carrying on the traditions of the Cohen, Diamond, Hirsch and Sandler family is what makes Lokanda so special, as generations of campers return to Glen Spey to spend their summers. While many improvements have been made throughout the years, the Red and Grey colors and the camper spirit remain and continue to be cherished by the campers and staff.

Closer to camp is the beautiful Delaware River for rafting and canoeing and Skinner Falls to hike. If you like shopping, we have plenty in the area! Be prepared to work hard and play hard in that order! You will get out even more than you get in.

According to the videos and pictures everything looks fine, but once you get there you will regret it. I have never been made to feel so insignificant and undervalued in a job ever before in my life. Yes There are 3 helpful reviews 3 No. Could not recommend working in Camp Lokanda more. This job is not only the job of a lifetime, but brings with it a summer of a lifetime. If you have nay interest in children, or working with them, I would recommend applying here. The management were superb and made the whole staff feel like a community. There's a few fair critisisms of this place but it boils down to this - If you aren't a total moron, are prepared to work hard and will throw yourself in then this place is super rewarding.
